On my page you will find sound clips from different places and things that I love. For the most general term, this is a collection of skateboard sounds. Along with audio samples you will see hand drawn maps that show where I was and where I had my mics set up to capture the awesome noise of skateboarding. Enjoy.

Ive always enjoyed the way cement skate parks resinate the sound of skateboarding. From the truck grinding coping to the screech of sliding wheels, its blissful.

There is nothing like a cement skate park filled with skaters talking and having a good time. This park is always filled with skaters just looking to have a good time.

Cream City Half Pipe

I find myself skating transitions (half pipes) for the most part. There is something about the back and forth flow, that is not interrupted by pushing, that makes me feel more at one with my skateboard.

Indoor skate parks, like Cream City Skate Park, are filled with wood ramps and cement floors. The most interesting sound to me is the metal sheets used to make a smooth transitions from the cement to the wood.

I remember the first time I realized I could hear the sound of my friends wheels spinning while they were in the air. The sound of well worn skateboard bearing sings like a symbol to my ears.
